EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Las Cruces Police Department (LCPD) is continuing its “Lunchbox Lemonade Friday” series at the Metro Verde Splash Pad.

Las Cruces residents are encouraged to have lunch with the LCPD’s Community Outreach Team from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 9 at 7125 Metro Park St.

Participants can visit the team to talk about police matters and share concerns about public safety, according to LCPD in a news release.

Guests are encouraged to bring their own lunch and LCPD will provide free popsicles and lemonade, courtesy of their partnership with Raising Cane’s, according to LCPD.

The final session of the Lunchbox Lemonade series will be held on Friday, Aug. 23 at Unidad Park Splash Pad, located at 1501 E. Hadley Ave.
