EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The El Paso Children’s Hospital Foundation (EPCHF) will host its signature fundraising event, “Una Noche Cubana,” at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 10 at the El Paso Country Club.
This year’s event will brim with Cuban-inspired activities, according to a news release sent by the EPCHF.
The event will feature an interactive fedora hat wall, a live auction, a hole-in-one contest, a three-course dinner, live music by Ray Colao and The Colao Show Band and more.
EPCHF said the evening will also highlight the Foundation’s ongoing efforts to support pediatric healthcare in the El Paso region and raise funds for a much-needed cardiology service line at the El Paso Children’s Hospital.
“Our community faces significant challenges in providing comprehensive and accessible specialty services for children,” said Dr. Abigail Tarango, executive director, El Paso Children’s Hospital Foundation. “Una Noche Cubana is more than just an event; it is a celebration of the generosity and commitment of our sponsors and donors. Their support enables us to deliver exceptional care to our youngest and most vulnerable patients right here in El Paso.”
The funds raised during the event will directly support El Paso Children’s Hospital, ensuring that children in the region receive the high-quality medical care they deserve without the “burden of traveling long distances,” according to EPCHF.
“We are deeply grateful for the unwavering support of our sponsors, donors, and the entire El Paso community,” Dr. Tarango added. “Their contributions are more than financial gifts; they are beacons of hope for countless families.”
