EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Texas Senator Cesar J. Blanco announced on Monday, Aug. 12, that his office is now accepting applications for the Texas Armed Services Scholarship Program (TASSP) for the 2024-2025 school year.
Applications are now open until 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 15. To access the application, click here.
The TASSP is a state-funded initiative aimed at supporting students who plan on serving in the Texas Army National Guard, Texas Air National Guard, or the U.S. Armed Forces, Blanco’s office said.
“The scholarship assists with educational expenses and encourages the next generation of leaders in military service. Senator Blanco will nominate one deserving student from Senate District 29 for an opportunity to further their education and serve their country,” Blanco’s office said.
