EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — An overturned commercial motor vehicle on Transmountain could still be affecting the commute for some on Tuesday morning, Aug. 13, according to the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office.
The Sheriff’s Office says just after 9 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 12, deputies were dispatched to Loop 375 East, also known as Transmountain Road, for an overturned commercial motor vehicle.
The Sheriff’s Office says the vehicle lost its load on the right shoulder of the roadway overnight and TxDOT crews remained on the scene to remove the debris.
The Sheriff’s Office says the outside lane was closed and the roadway was reduced to one lane. This could affect the morning commute for eastbound traffic on Transmountain Road.
