KTSM News – West El Paso library now offering passport services

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The City of El Paso Public Libraries announced their newest location for U.S. passport application services in West El Paso.

The newest U.S. Passport Acceptance Facility is now open at the Dorris Van Doren Branch Library, located at 551 E. Redd Rd., according to the City in a news release.

The public can access the services without an appointment but people still need to bring the necessary documentation to apply for a passport, according to the City.

The facility had been closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and library renovations.

The following library branches also offers passport services:

Esperanza Acosta Moreno Branch, 12480 Pebble Hills Blvd.

Richard Burges Branch, 9600 Dyer St., Ste. C

Armijo Branch, 620 E. 7th Ave.

Hours of operations at all locations with passport services are:

Sunday and Monday: closed

Tuesday through Thursday: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Friday: 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Saturday: 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
