KTSM News – Police activity places Hanks High School on secure protocol

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Hanks High School was placed on secure protocol due to police activity in the area on Friday, Aug. 16, according to the Ysleta Independent School District.

The school district says all students were safe and under adult supervision and classes continued according to their normal schedules.

The district did not specify why the school was placed on secure protocol and why there was police activity in the area.

No further information has been released. This story will be updated once we learn more.
