EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Fabens Independent School District has named a new assistant superintendent.
Rogelio Segovia will serve as assistant superintendent for curriculum and instruction, the district announced.
Segovia has worked as a substitute teacher, special education teacher, assistant principal, principal, mentor principal, adjunct professor and associate superintendent, Fabens ISD said.
“With over two decades of diverse experience in the field of education, Dr. Segovia brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise that will greatly benefit our students, staff, and community,” Fabens ISD said in a news release.
Segovia has a doctorate degree in curriculum and instruction and master’s degrees in educational leadership and counseling, according to Fabens ISD.
“I am thrilled to join the Wildcat family and am deeply committed to unlocking the full potential of every student and every member of the Fabens Independent School District,” Segovia said.
