EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – New El Paso Community College (EPCC) students took advantage of in-person services for admissions, recruitment, financial aid, testing, counselors and cashiers at the Extended Hours Registration and Information event held Saturday, Aug. 17 at the Valle Verde Enrollment Services Center (ESC).

EPCC said the first 90 people who registered full-time and in-person on Aug. 17, received vouchers worth up to $500 on books at the EPCC bookstore.
“The fall semester is around the corner, so we want to make sure that all the enrollment services and student services at the Valle Verde campus are open, for extended hours, outside our regular normal hours,” EPCC director of Recruitment Services, Michael Talamantes, said. “We will have evenings that we will be open until 7 p.m., and a few Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. It’s a huge benefit to those students who need the help.”
This event will continue to take place at the EPCC Enrollment Services Center on the Valle Verde Campus located at 919 Hunter Drive. This is open to all prospective EPCC students.
The following are the remaining dates and times of the event:
Monday, Aug. 19 – Thursday, Aug. 22 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Saturday, Aug. 24, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Monday, Aug. 26 – Tuesday, Aug. 27 from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.
EPCC said the first day of classes is Monday, Aug. 26.
