EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A person was rescued out of a canal Tuesday morning, Aug. 20, in El Paso’s Lower Valley, according to the El Paso Fire Department.
The Fire Department says they responded at around 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, to reports of a person in the water at a canal located at the 10000 block of Pan American Drive. That’s near the Bustamante Wastewater Plant.
A person was then rescued in the area and was transported with minor injuries, according to the Fire Department.
The scene was turned over to US Border Patrol. No further information was released.
