El Paso, Texas (KTSM) — Hi, El Paso! I’m really enjoying this fresh weather and hope you are too.
Sunday, we are forecasting to see a 30% chance of scattered storms. There is already an overcast sky and rainfall has already been detected in some areas on the Westside. Additionally, gusts are expected to reach 25 mph.
Rain chances should subside Sunday evening.
Labor Day is going to a cooler day for the Borderland. Our forecasted high for Monday is predicted to reach 83 degrees, the coolest day in our forecast.
The day will have a 40 percent chance of rain. I’m expecting us to see those rainclouds in the morning moving their way into the afternoon, possibly into the evening as well.
Monday’s overnight low is a chilly temperature of 65 degrees.
There is a very slight chance we will see rain Tuesday with our rain chances sitting at 20%.
Eighty-eight degrees is the predicted high for Tuesday. If you’ve noticed, we are slowly warming up toward those 90s. Winds are forecasted to range from 10-15 mph. Some cool winds are much needed for El Paso.
Wednesday, we can potentially reach up to 91 degrees. Hello, 90s!
Mostly clear skies are in our forecast along with some very light winds for Wednesday. No major weather events are expected for this day. Make sure you enjoy the nice refreshing weather as we inch closer to fall! Wednesday night, we dip to 70 degrees. This is the only “warm” night we will see in our 9-Day Forecast.
Ninety-three degrees is the expected high for Thursday. The 90s are creeping up on us fast. Don’t worry triple digits are not in our forecast.
Thursday, some cloud coverage is expected here and there. It’s a perfect opportunity to become a weather watcher. Just snap your weather photo, then send them over to news@ktsm.com. I’m always happy to share your awesome photos.
Sunny skies all day are predicted for Friday with a high warming up to 92 degrees.
Friday’s winds are expected to range from 5-10 mph. The pattern of sunny skies and fresh weather will actually continue most of the week.
Friday night cools off to 69 degrees.
Next Saturday’s weather is forecasted to replicate Friday’s conditions. The high is predicted to reach 92 degrees, twinning with Friday. Sixty-nine degrees is Saturday’s overnight low.
Ninety-three degrees is our expected high for next Sunday.
We are just 20 days away from fall and with all these sunny and warm days, I think now is the time to enjoy the last weeks of summer. Going for a swim or taking care of outdoor activities while we don’t have rain would be a great idea before it’s too chilly!
The remainder of our 9-Day Forecast will stay in the lower to mid-90s paired with sunny skies and some clouds stopping by to say hello.
That’s a look at your forecast. Thanks for reading El Paso !
