Posted on September 3, 2024

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Oculto Film Fest is returning to the El Paso and Juarez region for its sixth edition of the horror movie experience.

The film festival will take place on two weekends: Oct. 4-6 in Downtown El Paso and Oct. 11-13 in Cuidad Juarez.

The horror film fest will have over 200 screenings of short films from Argentina, Spain, Mexico, the U.S., Brazil and Turkey, totaling over 10 hours of film content for anyone in the family to enjoy, according to the news release by Oculto Film Fest.

“The Oculto Film Fest has always been about pushing the boundaries of horror and connecting fans with the genre in a meaningful way,” said Cabe Tejada, festival director. “This year, we’re excited to expand our reach and bring the festival experience to more people on both sides of the border, with a lineup that truly reflects the diversity and creativity of horror filmmaking worldwide.”
