On Thursday, Paramount+ released the official trailer for Landman, a highly anticipated series based on Texas Monthly and Imperative Entertainment’s 2019 podcast, Boomtown. Set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas, Landman is a modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of oil rigs. The ten-episode drama was cocreated by Taylor Sheridan and Texas Monthly alum Christian Wallace, who wrote and hosted the podcast while at TM.
