Two dispensaries in the Borderland region have sold the contaminated cannabis, according to the advisory.

The affected products, which includes bud, shake and trim, were produced and sold by WH Agriculture, LLC, which does business under the Maggie’s Farm name.

According to the NM Cannabis Division, R. Greenleaf in both Sunland Park and Alamogordo sold this company’s products.

WH Agriculture has been ordered to immediately remove any of the affected cannabis products from the market, said the New Mexico Cannabis Division.

“The CCD is committed to protecting public health and safety by ensuring that all cannabis products comply with state regulations. This advisory includes cannabis products that tested positive for pyrethrins, a pesticide exceeding legal limits,” according to the advisory put out by the Cannabis Control Division.

No health-related complaints have been reported to the CCD in connection to this recall, the agency said.

However, anyone with concerns should contact the New Mexico Poison Control Hotline at 800-222-1222 or consult their healthcare provider.
