EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – El Paso County issued a traffic advisory for an upcoming road closure in far East El Paso, the County announced in a news release sent Friday, Sept. 6.
The closure is set to impact the intersection between Pellicano Drive and Aircoupe Way, and Pellicano Dr. and Darrington Road from Sept. 8-30. However, the County said it may extend into October due to crucial utility work.
El Paso Electric will be installing electrical poles and hardware to service new development within the immediate area, according to the County.
The County said EPE crews will be working nights from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. from Sunday nights to Friday moorings. The eastbound lane closure will be in effect during this time frame.
“Drivers should be aware that the closure may extend beyond these times if unforeseen issues or delays occur,” read the news release.
