EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 50-year-old man was killed Sunday night, Sept. 8 when he became “dislodged” from the motorcycle he was riding along Interstate 10 and was hit by a semitruck and four other vehicles.
Police said the semitruck did not stop and fled the scene.
Ricardo Cuellar, 50, was killed in the multi-vehicle crash that happened at about 9:30 p.m. Sunday at Interstate 10 East near Airway.
Cuellar was riding his motocycle when he somehow became dislodged from his bike, police said.
He was then hit by a semitruck that did not stop and continued east on Interstate 10, police said.
Police said he was then hit by four other vehicles which all remained on the scene.
Cuellar died at the scene, police said.
His motorcycle continued to travel for several hundred feet until it struck another vehicle, police said.

This is the 44th traffic fatality of this year in El Paso, compared to 53 at the same time last year.
