EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Anthony, Texas, Police Department is hosting its first-ever National Night Out event next month.
The event will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 1 at Municipal Park, 101 Richard White Dr..
The event is designed to be a community outreach event for families and children and create good relationships between the community and first responders, organizers said. It will also help to educate children and families about what police do in the community.
There will be vendors selling food and drinks and there will be games for children. Law enforcement equipment will also be on display and an honor guard will present the colors.
