EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A person was rescued and transported with minor injuries late Sunday night, Sept. 29, from the canal in El Paso’s Lower Valley, according to the El Paso Fire Department.
The Fire Department says its water rescue team responded just before 11 p.m. to reports of a possible individual in the canal on US-54 at the Yarbrough Exit.
One person was rescued and transported to medical care with minor injuries.
The scene was turned over to law enforcement, the Fire Department said.
