EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The community is invited to register and be part of this year’s Down Syndrome Coalition for El Paso’s Buddy Walk event taking place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at the El Paso Community College Valle Verde Campus, 919 Hunter Drive.
The event aims to raise funds for the coalition’s many projects and EPCC’s Buddy Walk scholarship for students with disabilities, EPCC announced in a news release.
The registration fee is $20 for the walk. You can register online at www.epbuddywalk.org.
In addition, walk-up registration on the day of the event will be available.
All paid participants will receive a Buddy Walk t-shirt, according to EPCC.
