EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – This weekend, you will be able to see the product of 60 local artists with only 24 hours to produce eight unique plays.
Teatro Neplanta is a local non-profit organization and hub for actors, directors, producers and theatre lovers.
They have gathered several dozen artists to be a part of a 24-hour-long production of plays that will then be performed on stage on Oct. 12.
Founder and organizer Adam Zarowski said this will be an exciting night for both the audience and participants.
“There’s no theme this year. There are certain things they have to incorporate [in the play]. So, there’s a random prop, there’s a line that everybody has to use, there’s a date that every play has to take place on. So, we add a lot of new improvisational elements to make sure it is fresh and fun,” said Zarowski.
The plays start at 7 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Delgado Legacy BorderPlex located at 1540 East San Antonio.
