KTSM News – Downed power lines close part of U.S. 70 in Las Cruces

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Part of U.S. 70 in Las Cruces is closed on Friday evening, Oct. 17 because of down power lines, the New Mexico Department of Transportation said.

Both east and westbound U.S. 70 are closed from milepost 154 to milepost 155, NMDOT said.

Motorists are urged to reduce speed, obey posted signs and be cautious of personnel and equipment working in the area, NMDOT said.

Motorists can expect delays.
