EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Franklin High School students were let out early on Thursday, Oct. 24, due to a “water utility issue”, according to a statement the high school sent out to parents on Thursday.
The high school says students will be dismissed at 1 p.m. Thursday, and asks for parents to make arrangements for students to be picked up by that time. Buses will be running for those who ride the bus and all extracurricular activities will be canceled.
“EPISD is working with El Paso Water to ensure that issue is resolved quickly and most importantly safely for our students and staff. We will keep you informed on whether the campus will be ready to open for classes tomorrow, Friday Oct. 25,” the high school said.
