KTSM News – Tuesday 9-hour forecast: Temperatures warm up for Election Day

Posted on November 5, 2024

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) -If you’re heading out to the polls and vote Tuesday morning, we’re getting a cold start to Election Day as temperatures are expected in the upper 30s with light winds.

For the morning, low temperatures are expected to drop down to our wind chill values around our region. If you’re traveling to New Mexico, lowlands and higher terrain will feel below freezing including in the Sacramento Mountains.

Temperatures will begin to rise in the upper 50s by noon. However, winds will range 5 to 10 mph west and diminish around 5 mph south Tuesday night. Clear skies will remain all day and night.
