Escobar, D-Texas, has 114,270 votes or 59.90 percent to lead in Texas Congressional District 16.

Republican challenger Irene Armendariz Jackson has 76,167 votes or 39.93 percent.

This is the third consecutive election they have faced off.

Escobar was first elected to the U.S. House of Representatives in 2018 and has gone on to leadership roles within her party. She serves as a co-chair for Kamala Harris’ presidential campaign, a position she also held under President Joe Biden.

Escobar’s district consists of virtually all of El Paso, except for part of Fort Bliss and part of far East El Paso.
