A winter-like day today brought us some very beautiful skies and even a few rainbows. In the official rain gauge, we recorded 0.12 inches, which brings our total for the year to 4.28 inches. (Normal is 7.83 inches.) The high today is 56, far below the normal high of 71. The record is 86 set in 2023.

TONIGHT: The skies will be partly cloudy early in the evening but will slowly clear up through the night. The winds will be chilly and occasionally gusty, out of the NW-north at 10-25 mph. The low will drop to 36.
FORECAST: Friday will start with a few clouds in the morning with a mostly sunny afternoon. The NW winds will gust to near 25 mph, and they will feel quite chilly at times with a high of only 58. As the winds die down Friday night, we will wake up to a cold Saturday morning with a low of 32, our first freeze of the season. Saturday will be sunny and 70 with light winds. The SW breeze will range from 5-15 mph. Sunday will be sunny and nearly perfect with a high of 77. The SW winds will range from 5-10 mph. Monday will be mostly sunny with warm breezes and a high of 79. Tuesday will be sunny but windy at times with a high of 81. A zone of high pressure builds up over Mexico, and our weather will turn warm and stable. Tuesday will be sunny and 80.
