KTSM News – Sheriff’s Office: Man wanted for intoxication manslaughter arrested

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office said its deputies have arrested a wanted fugutive on charges of intoxication manslaughter.

On Wednesday, Oct. 30, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Apprehension Unit investigated the whereabouts of 36-year-old Alden Arturo Amaro.

Deputies found him along the 4800 block of Alameda Avenue and took him into custody without incident.

Amaro is wanted for two counts of intoxication manslaughter with a vehicle and two counts of intoxication assault with a vehicle, the Sheriff’s Office said.

The Sheriff’s Office did not offer any other details.

Amaro was subsequently booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility with a $160,000 bond.
