EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Centennial boys soccer takes first Class 5A State Title in program history following its 2-1 win over La Cueva.
The Bears will strike first in the 18th, the Hawks not able to respond until the second half. Josiah Parra-Guerro’s header tied the game at 1-1.
The tied score will force extra time, where in the 100th minute Raphael Marceaux will dribble past the defender and find the back of the net to secure the State Championship Title.
Hawks end the season with a 22-1 record.
