KTSM News – Las Artistas art show returns for 54th year

Posted on November 16, 2024

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso’s longest running juried art show will return for its 54th year.

The Las Artistas Art and Fine Crafts Show will be held Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 23-24 at the Epic Railyard Event Center, 2201 E. Mills Ave.

Las Artistas will feature arts and fine crafts from nationally known artists and established artists from the El Paso region, as well as emerging artists, and student artists from the University of Texas at El Paso Department of Art and from El Paso Community College, according to a news release announcing the event.

The cost is $10. Tickets are available at the gate or by clicking here. Admittance is free for children under 12.

Las Artistas bills itself as the region’s only juried art show and will feature more than 100 artists at the show, who will be selling their work. This includes paintings, mixed media, jewelry, ceramics, glass, sculpture, photography and more.

“It’s the perfect place to learn about and admire new art forms, shop for unique holiday gifts for loved ones or find one-of-a-kind handmade pieces for your own home,” the news release said.

The show will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23 and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 24.
