EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 38-year-old man from Humble, Texas, has died after he was struck by a vehicle late Sunday night, Nov. 18, on I-10 East, according to El Paso Police.
Police say a white Cadillac was traveling on I-10 East near the Zaragoza Exit when Siddharth Mukherjee, 38, crossed in front of the Cadillac and was struck.
Mukherjee died as a result of his injuries after he was struck, police say.
The Special Traffic Investigations unit responded to the crash that Sunday night.
A pedestrian on the roadway is a contributing factor in this crash, police say.
This is the 61st traffic fatality this year compared to 71 last year.
