EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Segundo Barrio’s Jalisco Cafe served free Thanksgiving meals to those in need on Thursday, Nov. 28.

The cafe located at 1029 E. 7th Ave., has been around for 20 years, solidifying its position as a beacon in the community.
“Struggling families, veterans, newcomers, and individuals from all walks of life are invited to enjoy the same traditional meal that many of us are fortunate to share,” said Hector Chavez, proprietor of Jalisco Cafe. “We’ve been blessed to serve El Paso since 1954, and this is our way of giving back to the community that has supported us. Our Thanksgiving is your Thanksgiving.”
