EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Community College (EPCC) Valle Verde campus hosted an “Off the Page Show” event for student creativity on Wednesday, Dec. 4.

The event brought together English, graphic design, music, and the culinary arts department featuring live readings, student work, and musical performances.
“Some students do not realize we have creative writing,” EPCC English Associate Professor Yasmin Ramirez, and Off the Page event manager, said. “This is a great way to promote not just our classes, but our departments and a great way to highlight students.”
The culinary arts department provided pastries for guests, and the English department had books on hand for students.
“Off the Page was a prominent EPCC event before 2020, and organizers say it will be back in the spring,” EPCC said.
