EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Friday, El Paso! We wrap up the first week of December with cooler temperatures and plenty of cloud cover.
Tonight, and into early Saturday morning, slight shower chances are still in play. Mostly cloudy skies will remain, along with a high near 55 degrees and a low around 40.
On Sunday we can expect sunnier skies and warmer temperatures. El Paso will see a high near 63 degrees and a low near 42 with winds picking up in the evening. Those winds and stronger gusts will persist through Tuesday with highs in the lower 60s.
Come Tuesday night those winds will settle as a cold front enters the region. Overnight below-freezing temperatures are expected – the first freeze this season. Wednesday will be around 10 degrees cooler producing a high near 52 with sunny skies. Thursday will be even colder with a high around 50 and a low near 35 before we warm up to the lower 60s for Friday.
Next weekend we’ll see above-average temperatures again with highs in the upper 60s and lows in the lower 40s.
