EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The UTEP women’s volleyball team’s dream season came to an end with a five-set loss to Oklahoma in the first round of the NCAA tournament on Friday, Dec. 6 in Pittsburgh.
The Miners took the first two sets before losing 19-25, 22-25, 25-19, 25-21, 15-7 to Oklahoma.
UTEP, which earned its first-ever bid to the NCAA Tournament, ended its season with a 27-6 overall record.
