EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Saturday, El Paso! The mostly cloudy skies and wintery weather will take a backseat for the next few days as warmer temperatures and gusts return.
On Sunday, we will see a high near 66 degrees with a low around 43. Partly sunny skies will be paired with west winds ranging from 5 to 15 mph, gusting as high as 25 mph in some areas.
Monday will feature similar conditions, a high near 67 with winds blowing 10 to 15 mph with gusts up to 25 mph. A cold front will arrive Monday night, dropping the low to around 39. As a result, Tuesday’s high will be in the lower 50s. Gusty winds will still remain throughout the day before calming down in the evening. The coldest air this season is expected overnight with a low near 30 – this is also the first possible freeze. Wednesday’s high will be near 53 with a low near freezing at 33.
Thursday and Friday will feature warmer temperatures in the mid-50s to lower 60s with lows in the upper 30s. Come next Saturday and Sunday, a gradual warm-up is present, where temperatures will stay in the lower to mid-60s through Monday.
