I early voted in the Shops of Solana on Friday, and I happened to see the “Big Guy” sitting there near the escalators. I’m sorry, I’m weak! I had to know!! Yes, Santa told me that things are looking pretty good for me this year, but could I please move over onto the chair! YES! As for the weather, get ready for, not only our first official freeze of the season, but a HARD FREEZE as well.
TONIGHT: The skies will be clear, but the winds will be a bit gusty on the east slopes of the mountains well into the evening. The west winds will gust to near 30 mph, stronger on the east slopes, before slowly dying down in the night. The low will drop to 44.
FORECAST: Monday will be sunny, warm, and windy with a high of 68. The west winds will pick up and gust to near 40 mph. We could see a bit of a dusty haze by afternoon. Around midnight, the winds will shift north as a cold front pushes in. Tuesday will be partly cloudy with very cold gusts. With a high of 49* (which will likely be a morning high), the winds will only get colder and colder through the day. North winds will gust to near 40 mph. Late Tuesday, the winds will start to die down, leaving us with a very cold 25 Wednesday morning. That would be our first official freeze of the season. Wednesday will be sunny with lighter winds and a high of 52. Thursday will be sunny and breezy with a high of 59. Friday will be mostly sunny and 65.
