EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Santa is making a list, checking it twice and will be packing lots of Olight flashlights, at least when it comes to the Burge household this holiday season.
“Santa,” aka Dad, just got a shipment from the flashlight company, thanks to a very nice Black Friday sale.
Let’s take a quick look at the haul that includes one of the company’s new releases and an old standby.
First, the new merchandise. Olight has released an Oclip Pro, the second generation of its popular Oclip light.

The Oclip Pro, like its predecessor, has a robust metal clip that allows this light to be carried in multiple ways. You can clip it to your shirt, a backpack, purse, wherever you need it.
The light also has a magnetic base that allows it to be attached to a metal surface like a locker at work or the hood of your car.
What makes the Oclip Pro stand out compared to its predecessor, the new version has three different light emitters – a spotlight, a flood light and a red light.
It adds up to a versatile light that can be used while out running or walking at night, on camping trips or working in the garage.
The light is charged using a USB-C port that is hidden under a metal dust cover, a big improvement over the original Oclip which had a rubber cover.

The new version also comes in four colorways – black, orange, a dragon and zodiac design and a red snowflake theme that is special for the holiday season.
Unfortunately, the Black Friday sale is over. The Oclip Pro currently lists for $39.99.
But fear not. Olight has frequent sales and last year, they had a surprise sale about a week to 10 days before Christmas. And that was plenty of time to get another shipment out to West Texas for the holiday.
So, just keep an eye out for any flash sales or discounts.
Now to the old standby – Olight’s i3E EOS keychain flashlight.
Santa got one in black that Olight sent as an apology. Three of the four Oclip Pros he ordered arrived on Black Friday and the Christmas-themed one came a week later in a separate mailing.
Olight thanked Santa for his loyalty and the free light was a gesture of good will.
Just another example of how Olight goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service.
Santa got a second keychain light from Olight, and here is the backstory.
Mrs. Claus had been wanting an i3E in this year’s Halloween colors – purple with green bats – but it was listed as sold out on the Olight website. Santa, however, was able to find it on eBay through Olight’s store there and for the same price that it had been going for on the company’s regular website.
