EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Ronald McDonald House of El Paso is kicking off the holiday season with its 39th annual “Lights of Love” and lighting ceremony event.
The event, sponsored by the Aguilar Family Foundation, will happen from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at the Ronald McDonald House, located at 300 E. California Ave.
The Lights of Love event is open to the public and will feature drinks and snacks, performances by the Mission Early College Dance team, St. Patrick’s Mariachis and Choir, and the UTEP Music Department, according to the news release by the Ronald McDonald House.
In addition, participants can also take pictures with Santa Claus and each child in attendance will receive a treat bag and a stuffed animal.
El Paso Electric, McDonald’s McOpco Managers, and the El Paso Alpha Delta Pi Alumnae Association assisted in decorating the House.
The Ronald McDonald House Charities of El Paso is a 501c3 non-profit organization that has provided housing to families with children receiving medical treatment.
