Posted on December 13, 2024

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A Canutillo family lost virtually all their possessions in a house fire on Friday night, Dec. 13, West Valley Fire Chief Bill Adler said.

The fire happened a little after 6 p.m. Friday at 389 Isaias Dr. in Canutillo. West Valley Fire knocked down the fire within a half-hour. Anthony Fire assisted.

When firefighters arrived, heavy smoke and flames could be seen coming through the garage and attic, Adler said.

Two adults and one child who lived at the home and several pets made it out safely, Adler said. No injuries were reported.

But their possessions were destroyed in the fire, he added. Red Cross is assisting the family.
