KTSM News – Wednesday 9-hour forecast: Breezy conditions bring a slight cold front to the Sun City area

Posted on December 18, 2024

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Winter is slowly creeping up and temperatures are expected to drop. Bringing slightly cooler temperatures and breezy conditions, a backdoor cold front is expected across the Borderland today.

Forecasting a high of 60-degrees by 2 p.m. winds are expected to travel 15 to 20 mph east then 5 to 10 mph tonight. Clear skies will linger into tonight, which means no rain chances on our radar.

Christmas is exactly one week away, and mild temperatures are expected by the afternoon all week. However, continue to carry a coat to stay warm during the early and late hours as cold temperatures will remain in the 30s and 40s.
