EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The U.S. Border Patrol El Paso Sector is spreading holiday cheer with its 30th annual Christmas party in the Chihuahuita neighborhood.
The Chihuahuita Christmas Party happened at 1 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 20 at 417 Charles Rd. in the Chihuahuita neighborhood, one of the oldest communities in El Paso and nationwide, according to Border Patrol in a news release.

Santa Claus appeared on horseback to meet the children and hand out gifts.
Border Patrol agents and support staff donated the presents, Border Patrol said.
“Since its inception, this annual event reflects the U.S. Border Patrol’s commitment to our community, exemplifying the values of honor, integrity and vigilance towards the El Paso area,” El Paso Sector Chief Patrol Agent Anthony “Scott” Good said.
