EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Sun Metro is getting into the holiday spirit by offering free rides on Christmas Day to say thank you to its customers.
Free rides will be provided all day on Dec. 25 to individuals of all ages, the City of El Paso said. No passes are required. Buses will be operating on a Sunday schedule for the holiday.
LIFT paratransit service will also provide free rides on Christmas Day. LIFT rides must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance by calling (915) 212-5438.
“Every month, Sun Metro provides more than half a million rides. To show appreciation to our customers for their continued support, and to encourage more people to try Sun Metro we are delighted to show our holiday spirit by providing free rides on Christmas Day,” said Sun Metro Director Anthony DeKeyzer.
