EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) El Paso arrested two Mexican nationals and a U.S. citizen for human smuggling, the department said on Thursday, December 26.
According to HSI, the trio allegedly smuggled and transported a female of unknown citizenship, who later died from health issues on October 13.
Officials did not provide the age of the female who died.
In addition, HSI said one of the two Mexican nationals allegedly managed multiple stash houses and is linked to the death of the female.
No other information was immediately released, but we are working to find out more.
