EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Two males were taken to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries after what Doña Ana County Sheriff’s Office (DASO) called an “accidental shooting” on Sunday, Dec. 22.
Just before 9 p.m. on Dec. 22, DASO deputies responded to a shooting at the 2100 block of Rocca Secca Rd.
DASO said two males were found with gunshot wounds, and the incident was determined as “accidental.”
One of the two males was handling the weapon when it “accidentally discharged,” according to DASO.
DASO said both males were transported to University Medical Center in El Paso with non-life threatening injuries.
In addition, no deputies were injured in this incident.
