EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — As we enter the final days of 2024, expect more above-average high temperatures.
After a calm, sunny day on Sunday, we will see one more warm and windy Monday before waving this year goodbye.
A high in the low 70s is expected to begin the workweek with winds ranging from 10-15 mph. Wind gusts can get up to 25 mph and blowing dust is likely to be a factor in some areas. Come evening, those wind speeds will begin to slow down becoming light closer to midnight.
Your Tuesday will feature calmer and slightly cooler conditions with a high near 67 and low around 39. Your New Year’s Day will be even cooler with a high in the low 60s. A low near 36 is expected.
The following days will have highs in the mid- to upper 60s through Monday, with lows in the upper 30s to low 40s. El Paso remains dry with little to no chance of precipitation for the next nine days. Breezy to light winds will persist. The next opportunity to see more seasonably normal highs will be next Tuesday, with a high in the low 60s.
