EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Traffic is being impacted after a person died following a crash involving a pedestrian on Thursday, Jan. 2, in East El Paso, fire dispatch said.

Fire dispatch said the call came in at 3:46 p.m.
In addition, the crash closed all lanes at Interstate 10 East before Lomaland, the Texas Department of Transporation (TxDOT) said.
The traffic detour is at the Yarbrough 28 B ramp, and the backup is to Viscount. The clearing time is until further notice, TxDOT said.
