KTSM News – More on-and-off snow showers, bitter cold ahead — Your 9-Day Forecast

Posted on January 8, 2025

If you live on the west side, you did not see any snow showers today but rather shivered in the strong, cold winds. If you live east of the mountain, you were treated to a few fast moving bands of snow showers. If you like in Las Cruces, you had so much snow coming down so quickly this morning (11 AM) that you were placed under a rare Snow Squall Warning by the National Weather Service. This is when heavy snow meets strong winds to reduce visibility rapidly. Tomorrow, much like today, will bring a continued chance of on and off snow showers. A second low pressure system drops down from New Mexico bring very cold air with it. Your 9-Hour Forecast and full weather prediction are below.
