EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – The City of El Paso’s Office of Management and Budget (OMB) has received the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award for the Fiscal Year 2024 adopted budget.
This award comes from the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA).
“Additionally, the City’s Office of the Comptroller continues to demonstrate financial excellence, earning the GFOA 2023 Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting for the Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) for the 30th consecutive year,” read a news release by the City of El Paso.
For the third consecutive year, the City also received the Award for Outstanding Achievement in Popular Annual Financial Reporting (PAFR), according to the news release.
“These accolades reflect our commitment to transparency, accountability, and excellence in financial management,” City Manager Dionne Mack said. “They are a testament to the hard work of our dedicated team and the trust placed in us by our community. We will continue to strive for the highest standards in serving the citizens of El Paso.”
