EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 24-year-old El Paso man who is suspected of allegedly stealing several catalytic converters across the city was arrested last Tuesday, Jan. 7 in East El Paso, El Paso Police said.
Police say David Earl Hardy, 24, is facing three charges of theft of a catalytic converter and is suspected of several catalytic converter thefts across El Paso
Officers with the El Paso Police Department’s Auto Theft Task Force located Hardy that Tuesday afternoon at the 1400 block of Goodyear.
Hardy was placed under arrest that Tuesday and was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility under a $7,500 cash or surety bond. He posted bond the following day.
