EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The Department of Defense along with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on Friday morning, deported 80 Guatemalan migrants from Biggs Army Airfield, U.S. Rep. Tony Gonzales, R-Texas, said in a post on X.
Gonzales said his District has been “ground zero for the border crisis and will be ground zero for DEPORTATION operations. In 4 days President Trump has done more to protect our country than Biden did in 4 years.”
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also shared on X Friday morning that deportation fights have begun and President Trump is “sending a strong and clear message to the entire world: if you illegally enter the United States of America, you will face severe consequences.”
