KTSM News – Fire crews looking for carbon monoxide leak at Central El Paso hotel

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — El Paso Fire crews are at a hotel near the airport responding to reports of a possible carbon monoxide exposure.

The call came in just before 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 2 at the Comfort Inn Suites, 1940 Airway Dr.

The incident has been upgraded to a Condition 3 hazmat incident and the first and second floors of the building have been evacuated, a Fire Department spokesperson said.

Crews are working to locate the source of carbon monoxide, the spokesperson said.
