EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Happy Groundhog Day, El Paso! If you haven’t already seen, Punxsutawney Phil woke up bright and early this morning only to spot his shadow – predicting six more weeks of winter. Based on this week’s forecast, however, I’d say El Paso is exempt from that.
Much of the Borderland is experiencing a warming trend. Here in the Sun City, we’re looking to be in the upper 70s to lower 80s through the next seven days. Mostly sunny skies, dry conditions, and light winds are the main features for this week. The lows will be in the 40s.
We see a slight cooldown next Monday, dropping to the lower 70s but the weather is relatively quiet these next few days.
